Albania Begin UEFA Nations League Preparations; Coach Maran to Announce Squad on Saturday

The Albanian national team will begin preparations this weekend for the UEFA Nations League matches, with the red-and-blacks facing a packed calendar during September and October, with four fixtures on the program.

National team coach Rolando Maran will announce on Saturday, September 19, at 11:00 at the House of Football, the list of players called up for these matches.

The Italian coach will announce the list during a press conference, where he will answer journalists’ questions and comment on his choices for the upcoming fixtures.

The red-and-blacks will first face Belarus at home on September 26, while three days later they will travel to San Marino for the September 29 match.

Then, the national team will play away against Finland on October 3, before returning home for the second match against San Marino on October 6.

Meanwhile, the squad gathering will begin on Monday, when the invited players will join the team and will hold the first training session that same afternoon at the House of Football.

The four matches of September and October will be another important stage for the Albanian national team, which aims to continue its journey in the UEFA Nations League with maximum preparation and dedication in every match.
