Blue Man Group Makes Its Broadway Debut: New Christmas Show Arrives at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre

After more than 30 years off-Broadway, Blue Man Group is finally landing on the world’s biggest theatrical stage. The world-famous group will present its first-ever Christmas-themed show, “Blue Man Group: A New Holiday Surprise,” at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, with performances from November 12 to January 3 and the official opening night on November 17.

The group’s original production played off-Broadway at the Astor Place Theatre for more than 30 years before closing in 2025, becoming in the meantime a global phenomenon. The new family show will see the three beloved “blue men” blend music, art and comedy as they discover classic holiday traditions and perform classic Christmas songs with their signature instruments — like paint-splattering drums and PVC tubes.
