British companies to use Ukrainian battlefield data to develop AI drone swarms

British defense companies will use Ukraine’s unique battlefield data to develop fleets of AI-powered autonomous drones, under a new strategic partnership between London and Kyiv.

British defense firms will gain access to data from millions of drone missions carried out by the Ukrainian armed forces to build autonomous swarms capable of operating in GPS-denied environments, Reuters reports.

The initiative aims to strengthen Britain’s military capabilities while providing Ukraine with advanced technological solutions.

The agreement was announced as part of a deepening defense partnership between the two countries.
