Did Musk Predict the Future of ChatGPT?

Elon Musk had long thought about where AI could reach.

In 2020, when GPT-3 had just been introduced, Musk was already talking about the models that would come after it, including GPT-5 and GPT-6.

He argued that, if AI continued to advance at the same pace, future models could become increasingly difficult to distinguish from the smartest humans.

Six years later, GPT-6 is here, making his prediction of that time even more interesting.

However, the question remains open whether GPT-6, or any other current AI model, can truly be considered AGI (general AI).

But one thing is clear: the future Musk imagined in 2020 no longer seems so distant.
