Greece stun Germany, Portugal win even without Ronaldo

Germany were stunned by Greece, who are showing their strength in League A Group 2. The Germans dominated possession and build-up play for the full 90 minutes, but never truly threatened, in the end suffering a 0-1 defeat.

In the 74th minute, the Greek national team took the lead through Kourbelis. The midfielder beat Nübel with a left-footed shot from the edge of the area that was clearly deflected by Bisseck, denying the German goalkeeper any chance to intervene.

Greece grew, beginning to reap the benefits of a continuously rising and talented squad. Germany are stuck on one point in the group, with Klopp working to rebuild a national team that has undoubtedly been disappointing in recent years.

Portugal, without Cristiano Ronaldo on the pitch, achieved a 2-1 win in Oslo against Norway. The Portuguese took the lead through João Félix in the 17th minute, but Haaland equalized in the 51st. An equalizer that did not last long, as Ramos scored the winning goal in the 54th minute.
