Kilometer-long queues at Batrovci: trucks wait up to seven hours to exit Serbia

The Automobile and Motorcycle Association of Serbia (AMSS) reported tonight that, according to Border Police data at 17:15, trucks leaving Serbia at the Batrovci border crossing (the border with Croatia, on the E70 highway) are waiting up to seven hours.

According to the same report, waits are also long at other border crossings for trucks, while no major delays are reported at passenger terminals.

Batrovci is Serbia’s busiest border crossing with Croatia and one of the main corridors for freight transport to the European Union, which is why jams there directly hit goods transport in the Balkans.

AMSS advises freight vehicle drivers to check border conditions before departure.
