Police Identify Third Suspect in Belada and Ivanović Murders, a Year After the Crime in Ugnje, Cetinje

Montenegrin police have identified a third person suspected of links to the murder of two suspected members of the Škaljar criminal clan, Stefan Belada and Andrija Ivanović, killed exactly a year ago in Ugnje near Cetinje.

According to the Police Directorate, in coordination with the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica, the prosecutor was handed a special report supplementing the criminal complaint against the third person, on suspicion of the criminal offense of “aggravated murder through assistance” against S.B. and A.I.

The double murder occurred on September 24, 2025, in Ugnje, Cetinje. Earlier, Nikola Drecun and Predrag Mirotić were charged as suspects in the killing.

Collected evidence indicates the act was carried out in an organized manner, police say, giving no further details in the interest of the investigation. Activities continue to identify other persons linked to this case, as well as to solve other crimes against life.
