Prattipati receives Isufaj in their second meeting in September to strengthen rule-of-law cooperation

The Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Pristina, Anu Prattipati, received the chief prosecutor of Kosovo’s Special Prosecution, Blerim Isufaj, in a meeting aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation in the field of rule of law.

This is their second meeting in September. On September 11, Prattipati had visited the Special Prosecution’s offices, where chief prosecutor Isufaj presented her with a plaque of appreciation for the continued support of the United States toward this institution.

According to the U.S. mission’s announcement, during Thursday’s meeting they discussed the continuation of successful cooperation against threats to U.S. national security, including terrorism, drug and migrant smuggling, cybercrime, as well as transnational criminal organizations.

The Special Prosecution, for its part, thanked the U.S. Embassy for its support in successful investigations against transnational criminal organizations and for the excellent cooperation with U.S. law enforcement agencies in the fight against organized crime.
