Ramadani: “The power-holders’ game has failed — by October 6 either a President or elections”

Alliance MP Burim Ramadani has reacted after the publication of the Constitutional Court’s judgment, describing it as a failure of the power-holders’ approach regarding the constitution of the Assembly.

In his reaction, Ramadani emphasizes that constitutional deadlines must be respected and that the Constitutional Court’s ruling has defined the consequences of exceeding the deadline for constituting the Assembly.

“The power-holders’ game has failed! Let these power-holders learn: the Constitution is not an advisory piece of paper and constitutional deadlines are not decoration,” he wrote on Facebook.

According to the MP, the Constitutional Court has found that the Assembly was constituted after the expiry of the 30-day deadline and has determined the constitutional consequences of this overrun. “By October 6 either the President is elected or we go to elections,” he declared.

“Everything they did from August 8 to September 13, the Court threw out!” Ramadani concluded, describing the situation as “a total failure of the power-holders’ game.”
