“The Revlon Girl,” the Olivier-Nominated Drama About the Aberfan Tragedy, Returns to Park Theatre with New Cast

Park Theatre in Finsbury Park, London, announced the full cast of “The Revlon Girl,” Neil Anthony Docking’s drama returning to its “original home” after major international success. The announcement was made by artistic director Jez Bond and executive director Catherine McKinney. The show will run from October 26 to November 14, 2026, with press night on Wednesday, October 28, at 19:00.

The all-female cast consists of Antonia Kinlay as “Revlon,” Mirain Haf Roberts as “Rona,” Llinos Daniel as “Jean,” Hedydd Dylan as “Maralyn” and Charlotte Gray as “Sian.”

“The Revlon Girl” is a funny, moving and deeply humane drama, based on true events following the Aberfan disaster of 1966, in which 144 people lost their lives, 116 of them children. The work tells the true story of the mothers who met above the Aberfan hotel every Tuesday evening — where they could talk, cry and laugh without feeling guilty — and who one evening secretly invited a Revlon representative to give them beauty advice.

Since its 2016 premiere, the show grew from an unknown work into one of the most talked-about plays of recent years, with extraordinary reviews from critics and audiences — not only in Britain but internationally. The production found its first success during its inaugural tour in Wales, in the 50th anniversary year of the Aberfan disaster, became a major hit at the Edinburgh Festival, and then transferred to a sold-out London run. Along the way it collected five Off-West End nominations, including for “Best Production,” won the Offie award for “Best New Play,” and was nominated for the Olivier Award for “Outstanding Achievement.”
