Vjosa Osmani meets Bill Clinton in the U.S. at Clinton Global Initiative reception

Former Kosovo president Vjosa Osmani is on an official visit to the United States of America. During her stay in the U.S., she met former American president Bill Clinton.

Osmani announced the news herself through a post on Facebook. “With President Bill Clinton at the reception hosted by the Clinton Global Initiative,” she wrote, accompanying the post with a photograph in which the two leaders are seen smiling, side by side.

The meeting took place as part of the reception hosted by the Clinton Global Initiative, a forum that gathers every year important figures from politics, diplomacy and civil society from around the world.

Bill Clinton is considered one of Kosovo’s closest friends and played a decisive role during the war and the declaration of independence, while the United States of America remains Kosovo’s main ally.
