As Harper’s Bazaar reports, Dakota is nominated for Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for her role as Jenny Kaminski in the Peacock series All Her Fault — her fourth Emmy nomination. Meanwhile, Elle is competing for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her performance in Margo’s Got Money Troubles, a comedy-drama based on Rufi Thorpe’s 2024 novel that follows the story of a 19-year-old new mother in California who turns to OnlyFans to make a living. In the same category her rivals include names like Lisa Kudrow for The Comeback, Jean Smart for Hacks and Quinta Brunson for Abbott Elementary; Ayo Edebiri is also nominated for her performance in The Bear, the series that brought her her first Emmy award in 2023.

Elle, who has often been present at awards and events, is attending the Emmy ceremony only for the second time. Her debut in this race dates to 2022, when she was nominated for her role in The Great and wore a strapless black gown with a glittering bleached bodice and a pink train created especially by Sharon Long, the series’ costume designer.
