Explosive Device Found in Prizren; KSF Demining Unit Intervenes

A suspected explosive device was found on Sunday on “Destan Billusha” street in Prizren, mobilizing police units and the Kosovo Security Force.

According to the Kosovo Police announcement, the case was reported at around 3:00 PM. Police units immediately arrived at the scene and secured the perimeter to avert any danger to citizens.

After assessing the situation, the Kosovo Security Force’s specialized demining unit intervened on the ground and safely removed the suspected device.

Police said there were no reports of injuries and that work continues to fully clarify the circumstances of the case.
