In Group A2, Jürgen Klopp’s Germany secured its first win, condemning Serbia to a third straight defeat. The Germans’ success came thanks to a first-half goal by Bischof and a second goal by Wirtz. The match at the Allianz Arena ended 2-0.
Portugal without Cristiano Ronaldo beat Denmark 4-2. The Portuguese team started the match strongly, taking the lead after 13 minutes through Cancelo, assisted by Gonçalo Ramos. Ten minutes later, Damsgaard restored the balance, while Ramos put the Portuguese ahead again. Denmark equalized again at the start of the second half, with an excellent counterattack by Hojlund. However, Portugal remained unshaken, taking the lead through Vitinha and sealing the win with João Félix. The match ended 4-2 for Jorge Jesus’s team, which bounced back strongly after the Cristiano Ronaldo incident. Portugal now has nine points, followed by Denmark, Norway and Wales.
