Seven Assembly committees meet today in Skopje: a packed agenda from education to defence

Seven committees of the Assembly of North Macedonia meet today in Skopje, as Biznis Vesti reports, fulfilling the agenda for Friday, October 2, 2026. The sessions start at 10:00 and continue throughout the morning, with a packed programme covering everything from education to defence.

According to Biznis Vesti, at 10:00 the meetings of the Committee on Education, Science and Sport and of the Committee on the Political System and Inter-Community Relations open. At 11:00 the Committee on Social Policy, Demographics and Youth and the Committee on Defence and Security follow, while at 11:30 the Committee on Culture and Tourism and the Committee on Transport, Digital Transformation, Environment and Spatial Planning meet.

The agenda also foresees a meeting of the Legislative-Legal Committee, for which the time has not been announced. The committees will review proposals and materials within their competences, according to the agenda approved by the Assembly.

Today brings a high level of parliamentary activity in the Macedonian capital, with issues touching key areas of public life — from education and social policy to defence, culture and digital transformation.
