Haradinaj Remembers Ahmet Krasniqi: His Path and Ideal of a Regular Army Were Realized

Former Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has remembered Colonel Ahmet Krasniqi on the anniversary of his murder, praising his contribution and sacrifice for the country.

Haradinaj wrote that such anniversaries recall the high price Kosovo paid for freedom, while describing Krasniqi as an example of sacrifice, professionalism and love for the homeland.

“Anniversaries like today’s remind us of the high price Kosovo paid for freedom. Colonel Ahmet Krasniqi was the example of sacrifice, professionalism and pure love for the homeland,” Haradinaj wrote.

He stressed that, despite Krasniqi’s murder, his path and ideal of a regular, institutional army were realized.

“Even though his murder left a great void, his path and ideal of a regular and institutional army were realized,” he stated.

In closing, Haradinaj expressed honor for the life and work of Colonel Ahmet Krasniqi.
