Kim Kardashian Celebrates the Opening of Skims’ First International Store in a Leather Dress With a Plunging Neckline

Kim Kardashian arrived in London to inaugurate the first international store of her shapewear brand, Skims, and marked the occasion with a series of figure-hugging looks in nude tones. During fashion week events she changed her look several times, favoring dresses of leather, lace, and sparkling elements that drew attention.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, the high point was a custom-made dress by Ludovic de Saint Sernin, inspired by the upcoming collaboration between the fashion house and Skims, out on October 1. The nude leather dress featured an extremely deep neckline and a body-hugging bodice that eased at the hips, continuing into a maxi skirt with a wide train; the fabric also featured a soft chiffon panel revealed by corset-style lacing, while the look was completed with open-toe sandals, blush in light violet tones, and long hair left down during the opening night held Friday during London Fashion Week.

During the same evening she also wore a black leather top with bondage elements and hundreds of eyelets, and was later photographed outside the Maison Estelle members’ club in a sparkling oyster-toned combination — a short halter top and long skirt, both adorned with silver details.

For dinner at the Milos restaurant, where she was accompanied among others by Lewis Hamilton, Kardashian chose a simpler version of the tight dress: an elastic-jersey maxi with long sleeves and a black bandage-style layer. Harper’s Bazaar also noted this style change between the evening’s events.
