Linda Cardellini wins Emmy and shines in geometric pearl gown at the 2026 edition

Linda Cardellini arrived at the 2026 Emmy Awards ceremony as winner of the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie category, an award announced during the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards pre-ceremony, which is not televised. This marks her first win on television’s biggest night.

As Harper’s Bazaar reports, for the evening Cardellini worked with stylist Jeanann Williams and chose a long couture gown by Yara Shoemaker, composed of hundreds of square mother-of-pearl pieces joined with a diamond at each corner. The sleeveless design combined ethereal elements with a cut geometric shape, while a diamond necklace and chunky diamond rings completed the outfit.

During her acceptance speech, Cardellini said she was emotional and thanked her parents, her long-term partner Steven Rodriguez and daughter Lila Rose. She also gratefully mentioned the Dead to Me team and fellow nominees, saying she felt fulfilled and inspired by their work.

Cardellini had received her first Emmy nomination in 2013 for her role as Sylvia Rosen in Mad Men, while in 2020 she earned two nominations for Dead to Me, as lead actress in a comedy series and as executive producer of the series.
