Luiza Gega to race the 10 km in Shkodër on October 4

It was learned today that the sporting event to be held in Shkodër on October 4 gains another prestigious name — that of Luiza Gega. Event organizers have revealed that the elite athlete, who was crowned European champion in the 3000m steeplechase at the European Championships held in Germany in 2022, will also take part in the main discipline, the 10 km.

For Gega, the autumn season will be very important, as the elite Albanian athlete, who is part of the Tirana club, has announced she will also compete in “Tirana Marathon 2026.”

On October 4 in Shkodër the second edition of the races will be held over three different distances: 2.5 km, 5 km and 10 km. A.V.
