Lushtaku hits back at Haxhiu: Let her do her own job, Vetëvendosje has divided the people

Acting president Albulena Haxhiu has said that for the Vetëvendosje Movement a coalition with PDK is impossible, claiming that within that political entity there are figures who play a leading role behind the scenes, as Klan Kosova reports.

Although she did not name anyone, Haxhiu made indirect accusations that in the party led by Bedri Hamza there are figures with great power and influence. “We need to know who leads PDK. Because there are figures there who have power and authority and who I think have problems with the law and the wealth they have created,” she said on “Debat Plus”, according to Klan Kosova.

When journalist Ermal Panduri asked ironically whether this would imply that, if Sami Lushtaku were not part of PDK, then Vetëvendosje could form a coalition with this party, she laughed and said: “I hope the Law on the Bureau enters into force very soon and then everyone will account for the wealth they have created.”

Klan Kosova contacted the mayor of Skenderaj, Sami Lushtaku, who sees Haxhiu’s statements as interference in the party’s internal affairs. “Albulena Haxhiu should do her own job, not concern herself with who is the head of the Democratic Party, and the entire public opinion in Kosovo knows that Bedri Hamza is the head of the party,” Lushtaku said, as Klan Kosova reports.

“I know I bother Vetëvendosje because I am against the policies of Vetëvendosje, which has divided and poisoned this people. That is why I am clear: I am not afraid of it, nor do I intend to hide what I think,” Lushtaku concluded.
