Nicole Kidman Shines in Chanel Gown on the Emmy Red Carpet in Los Angeles

The Hollywood star made a standout entrance at the Emmy ceremony at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Nicole Kidman chose a cream Chanel gown that belonged to an angelic aesthetic: a strapless piece with a deep neckline adorned with white petal-shaped appliqués that moved with every step. The gown’s silhouette was hourglass, creating a pronounced wasp-waist effect, paired with black heels that anchored the red-carpet look.

As Harper’s Bazaar reports, the actress completed the outfit with Chanel High Jewelry — diamond earrings and rings — and an Omega watch. Her blonde hair was pinned in a loose bun with a few strands framing her face; her makeup was classic, with black eyeliner and glossy pink lips.

Kidman’s presence at the awards night coincides with the nomination of her Apple TV+ series, Margo’s Got Money Troubles, in the Outstanding Comedy Series category. She appears in the series alongside Elle Fanning, Dakota Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer, and serves as executive producer through her company, Blossom Films. In a red-carpet interview, Kidman said she couldn’t resist the adaptation of Rufi Thorpe’s novel, because it felt like a comedy-drama that is also great fun: “It was a delight,” she explained about the production experience.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, this is not the first time Kidman has been recognized by the Television Academy: in 2017, Big Little Lies won an Emmy and she also received an individual award for her performance, while in 2012 she was nominated for her role in Hemingway & Gellhorn.
