Princess Kate Brings Back Her Favorite Necklace to Freshen Up a Simple Work Outfit

Princess Kate chose a chunky chain necklace to liven up a simple business look during her visit to the Forward Trust in Southend. She wore a houndstooth jacket over a dark gray sweater, black trousers and leather loafers, while finishing the look with turned gold earrings and smoky-eye makeup.

As Harper’s Bazaar reports, the chunky necklace the Princess brought back is one of her favorite accessories and had previously been seen last summer with a cerulean suit and a white round-neck blouse. At the global premiere of the film “Digger” in London she had also worn a purple Jenny Packham dress and a heart-shaped necklace of diamonds, pearls and amethyst that belonged to Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon and is more than a century old.

The visit to the Forward Trust was part of her engagement during Addiction Awareness Week in the United Kingdom, held from September 19 to 25. The Forward Trust is a British organization that helps people recover from addiction; Princess Kate has been a patron of the organization since 2021 and has often spoken about her commitment to mental and physical health causes.
