Rihanna shows how to style jeans for dinner in Paris

In Paris, where refined style is favored far more than loud or sporty outfits, Rihanna stepped out of the historic Lapérouse restaurant in a combination that made denim look right for an elevated dinner: relaxed, slouchy jeans paired with a fitted black blazer.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, the black jacket was Jonathan Anderson’s interpretation of the Dior Bar, crafted from wool and silk with structured shoulders and a slim cut. The piece featured satin detailing along the lapels, pockets, cuffs and hem — and reports say Rihanna’s dinner was with a Dior director.

She completed the look with pointed-toe heels peeking out from beneath the long jeans, and a black quilted Cannage bag with gold charms spelling out the brand’s name. Gold-toned accessories — a necklace and several chunky rings — gave the combination its final elegant touch.
