A Christmas with Sinatra by Candlelight: Joel Harper-Jackson Takes to the Stage at London’s Aldwych Theatre

Joel Harper-Jackson, the actor who embodied Frank Sinatra in the West End hit musical “Sinatra The Musical”, returns to the stage with a special festive evening: the concert “A Sinatra Christmas By Candlelight” will take place at the Aldwych Theatre in London on Sunday, December 6, 2026, at 7:30 PM. It’s a one-night-only event, conceived as a musical celebration on the eve of the holiday season.

Harper-Jackson will be joined by a 17-piece big band and hundreds of candles placed around the stage, under the musical direction of Dave Rose. The program brings together the two worlds of his repertoire: Sinatra’s greatest classics — “My Way”, “Fly Me to the Moon”, “New York, New York” and “That’s Life” — with Christmas hits “White Christmas”, “The Christmas Song”, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “Let It Snow!”.

Guest stars will also take to the stage: Lauren Byrne from the pop group “Remember Monday”, Lloyd Daniels from the UK tour of “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and Sharlene Hector, known from “Hercules” at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

The singer has performed for years with the “Concerts by Candlelight” series on iconic stages such as Carnegie Hall, the London Palladium and St Paul’s Cathedral, and says that with this evening “his two worlds have collided”. Tickets go on sale today, Friday, September 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM. According to the producers, it will be an evening that “will have everyone singing along and feeling truly festive”.
