Action for Mothers and Children and Supporters Donate Hospital Beds to the Pediatrics Clinic at QKUK and the Main Family Medicine Center in Viti

Thanks to the generosity of OST – Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences, with the support of Liridona Makica, a friend of the AMC Foundation, six hospital beds have been brought to Kosovo. Four of them have been donated to the Pediatrics Clinic at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (QKUK) in Pristina, while two have been donated to the Main Family Medicine Center in Viti.

This donation responds to concrete needs identified in cooperation with the beneficiary institutions. Hospital clinics and family medicine centers across Kosovo constantly need infrastructure improvements, as well as support through donations and investments in essential medical equipment. Through such partnerships, AMC cooperates with public health institutions and donors to contribute to creating better conditions for patients and health professionals.

“Children and families seeking health care deserve safe, dignified and properly equipped environments. Every concrete contribution can make a significant difference. We are grateful to our partners who enable us to respond to needs identified together with health institutions,” said Rina Demiri Spahija, AMC’s Executive Director.

Dr. Alije Keka Sylaj, director of the Pediatrics Clinic, said: “This donation responds to a real need of our Clinic and will directly support the care we provide to children and families. We sincerely appreciate this valuable support and the continued cooperation.”

“We are very thankful to AMC for the donation of the two beds, which will help us improve our daily work and provide better services to patients,” said the director of the QMF in Viti, Dr. Vjollca Kadolli.
