Albania’s General Directorate of Archives at the Pan-Albanian Book Fair in Tetovo with publications on key figures of the nation

The General Directorate of Archives (DPA) has joined the Pan-Albanian Fair of Academic and Scientific Books, at the University of Tetova. In this edition, held on the occasion of the 20th Seminar of Albanology, the DPA presented its publications over the years on important periods and figures of the nation’s history.

Among the publications presented at the fair, the DPA’s stand also included studies on archival methodology in the Albanian space.

Today, the DPA will conclude its participation in the fair with the presentation of its latest publications, the monographs “Nikolle Bej Ivanaji, his dimension in the archival documents, 1879-1951” and “Guide to the documents in the Italian language at the Central State Archive, personal and family fonds”.

The fair opened yesterday in Tetovo, attended by the president of the Academy of Sciences of Albania, Academician Skender Gjinushi, and the rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti. This fair, which brought together publishers, institutions, scientific organisations and several Albanian universities, was organised by the University of Tetova, through the Directorate of the Seminar of Albanology.
