Apartment search in Prizren uncovers marijuana: anti-narcotics unit intervenes

A police search of an apartment in the city of Prizren, initially conducted as part of the criminal offense of “property damage,” has led to the discovery of another criminal offense.

According to Klan Kosova correspondent journalist Nuhi Salihu, who reported on the “Ora Shtatë” show, police found a suspected quantity of marijuana during the search.

Following the discovery of the substance, the case was reported to the Directorate of Investigations for Narcotics Trafficking Unit, which has taken over the drug-related part of the investigation.

The suspect was interviewed by investigators, while the suspected substance was seized as material evidence. By decision of the competent prosecutor, the suspect was released in regular proceedings, while the case continues to be investigated.
