Around 1,000 items seized in Hani i Elezit, goods handed over to Kosovo Customs

Kosovo Police have temporarily seized a van and a considerable quantity of goods in Hani i Elezit, suspected of lacking proper documentation, Klankosova.tv reports.

According to the Police announcement, Border Directorate units had received information that a van with local license plates was parked in Hani i Elezit, suspected of being loaded with various undocumented goods.

During field operations, police officers also identified a warehouse containing various goods. In coordination with the duty prosecutor, the necessary procedural actions were taken, while the vehicle and goods were temporarily seized.

On September 29, after consultation with the duty prosecutor and examination of the goods by Kosovo Customs officials, the case was initiated as a customs violation.

During the count, around 1,000 different items were recorded, including electronic and technical equipment, computer equipment, textiles, various materials, unprocessed tobacco, as well as other items.

The seized vehicle and goods have been handed over to the competent Kosovo Customs unit for further procedures.
