As Rama’s address was awaited, Berisha landed at Rinas; the DP leader to travel to Strasbourg

As the address of Prime Minister Edi Rama from Rinas airport was being awaited, Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha also arrived there.

Journalist Eksiola Shehu reported that Berisha is expected to travel to Strasbourg to follow the proceedings of the Council of Europe starting Monday, and has been accommodated in the airport’s VIP lounge.

Berisha will stay in Strasbourg from September 28 to October 1.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Edi Rama arrived at Nënë Tereza Airport shortly after 1:00 p.m. on Sunday following his visit to the United States, where he took part in the UN General Assembly.

As announced the previous night by the Prime Minister’s office, Rama is expected to address Albanian citizens with a message, as Euronews Albania reported.
