Assembly constitution and government formation: PDK turns to the Constitutional Court today
The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) is expected to turn to the Constitutional Court today over recent developments in the process of constituting the Assembly and forming the government.
According to PDK’s announcement, party representatives will hold a media conference in front of the Constitutional Court building, where the details of the case to be filed are expected to be disclosed.
PDK had earlier warned it would take the matter to the Constitutional Court, objecting to the way the Assembly constitution process has unfolded.
The party also announced that its address to the Court will also include the issue of the formation of the new government led by Albin Kurti.
The fourth Kurti government was voted in on Sunday in an extraordinary session of the Assembly. Seventy deputies took part in the vote, while 62 voted in favor of the new government cabinet. /Telegrafi/
