Bajrami reacts after the election of the Government: Same promises, missing results
Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) MP Hykmete Bajrami has criticized Albin Kurti’s governance, saying that after nearly six years in power, citizens no longer judge the prime minister by his promises, but by results.
In a Facebook post, Bajrami listed a series of promises which she claims the Kurti government has not fulfilled.
“The question is no longer: What is Albin Kurti promising? The question is: Why didn’t he do what he promised six years ago?” she wrote.
According to the LDK MP, Kurti is again presenting citizens with promises similar to those at the start of his mandate, although, as she said, he has had the parliamentary majority, control of the government and large budgets at his disposal.
“After six years in power, citizens no longer judge you by promises — they judge you by results,” Bajrami stated.
She presented criticism across several areas of governance, including the economy, employment, education, healthcare, capital investments, energy, the fight against corruption, the functioning of institutions and foreign policy.
In education, Bajrami said the promised reform has not been implemented, while in healthcare she mentioned waiting lists, shortages of medicines and the departure of healthcare professionals.
Bajrami also criticized the lack of results in other areas, emphasizing the government’s responsibility for the promises made during its years in office. /Telegrafi/
