“Bleona Mata is alive and is in…” – lawyer’s bombshell: she is now an excellent student, adopted

It could turn out to be a thriller story worthy of the series “Truth Detective,” Season Three.

Today on the show “Breaking with Fiori Dardha,” lawyer Alban Duraj joined live and gave new details about the Bleona Mata case — the sensational event that gripped public opinion for nearly two decades.

According to him, Bleona’s mother told him that her daughter is in one of the European Union countries. She is an excellent student and has been adopted by a Greek couple.

The lawyer added that Mrs. Bukurie gave no further details, but that once she meets Bleona, she will not leave it at that.

Fiori Dardha: Another very painful, delicate case that has kept Albanian citizens riveted for years. I am talking about the Bleona Mata case. You have invested in this case and the latest news is surprising.

Alban Duraj: It is true, and in the communication I had with Mrs. Bukurie — which was in late June or early July — she said we are very close to finding Bleona Mata. This is because of the investment made with the income collected from Albanian citizens through a public call made to raise money for this case. Mrs. Bukurie received a considerable part of this sum from Albanian citizens and added another difference herself because the money was not enough. She contacted an agency that investigates missing persons. She said that Bleona is in one of the European Union countries. So they have managed to identify where she is. She is a student — an excellent, outstanding one — and she has been adopted by a Greek couple. That is what she told me for now.

Fiori Dardha: Let us hope we will have a meeting…

Alban Duraj: She assured me that when she meets Bleona, she will not leave it at that. Because all the persons who helped in Bleona’s disappearance, or those officials who acted or failed to act to uncover her, she will not let go. They will bear criminal responsibility, and we will turn to the Special Prosecution so that it investigates this case.
