Bayern talent Erblin Osmani: “I always wanted Kosovo, proud to play for it”

Midfielder Erblin Osmani was one of Kosovo coach Franco Foda’s new faces. The Bayern talent, in a statement for the official website of the Football Federation of Kosovo, said he always wanted to represent the “Dardanians”.

“I always wanted Kosovo, so I am very happy that I was able to be here. When the coach called me, I accepted without hesitation,” Osmani said, showing himself full of energy and motivation for the upcoming challenges.

The 19-year-old has also played for Germany’s U17 team, but his wish was to play for Kosovo, and he says he feels very proud to represent it. He expects his debut in these two matches, but says that depends on the coach.

Osmani plays in midfield and wears the Bayern jersey in Germany. As for the new atmosphere in the Kosovo national team, Osmani says he was welcomed very well by the other players and is extremely excited to have this opportunity.

“I have only been here for two days, but everyone has welcomed me very well. I am very happy to be here and very motivated,” said the young talent.
