Captain Gjimshiti: “It’s only the beginning, there’s room for improvement”

Red-and-black captain Berat Gjimshiti commented on the 2-0 victory over Belarus at “Air Albania” in the first Nations League match. “There’s room for improvement, it’s only the beginning under coach Maran. We were aggressive and won many duels. As the minutes passed we took control of the game, went ahead, and then it became easier.”

“We must stay focused; the mental and physical aspect is very important. The penalty moment — who takes it? The list is set: Asllani is first, Manaj is second.”
