Çitaku demands full publication of the verdict against former KLA leaders

PDK lawmaker Vlora Çitaku has demanded the full and unredacted publication of the Specialist Chambers’ judgment against the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

In a post, Çitaku said the verdict under which Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi were convicted must be published in its entirety.

“You cannot convict liberators in the name of the people, and then fail to publish in full, without a single redaction, the verdict on the basis of which you convicted them.

Complete. Full stop,” Çitaku wrote.

She called for the public to have access to all the facts and evidence on which the Specialist Chambers’ decision was based.

“Let the people see on what ‘facts’ and ‘testimonies’ such a decision was built against four men who are alive today by chance, because when they wore the uniform with the three golden letters, death was closer to them than their shirts to their bodies,” she declared.

“Publish it in full. Without redactions,” Çitaku added.
