Croatia asks Montenegro for over €2.4 billion in military property inherited from the former Yugoslavia
Croatia is asking Montenegro to resolve several open issues relating to military property and ownership, which Zagreb claims amount to more than €2.4 billion in value.
Croatia’s foreign minister said the demands are not limited to the ship “Jadran”, but also include other vessels, warships, submarines and a military hospital.
According to him, Croatia holds documents and maps showing the state of the military property in 1990 and 1991. Zagreb claims that part of that property was transferred towards Montenegro or has disappeared.
