Cultural heritage exhibition in Berat

On the eve of the National Day of Cultural Heritage, the Berat Regional Directorate of Cultural Heritage presented an exhibition in the city’s public spaces featuring interiors of Berat houses, religious objects, and icons by Onufri, the Çetiri brothers, and anonymous painters.

At the entrance of the promenade, with Mangalem as a backdrop, cultural heritage was displayed today under the open sky, turning the city into a living open-air museum. The exhibition has drawn the interest of tourists, who remain numerous in Berat even through September, stopping to learn up close about the city’s history, art, and rich cultural heritage.

It was a special encounter with Berat’s history, art, and identity — where heritage lives and converses every day with visitors.
