Drishyam 3: The Conclusion opens in cinemas today: the finale of Ajay Devgn’s saga targets the biggest opening of his career with 45–55 crore rupees
Drishyam 3: The Conclusion, starring Ajay Devgn, was released today, October 2, 2026, in cinemas across India, benefiting from the Gandhi Jayanti national holiday. The film closes the crime saga that has kept audiences in suspense for more than a decade, and the studio’s expectations are extremely high.
Market analysts predict a historic first-day opening: between 45 and 55 crore rupees (India net), as The Daily Jagran reports. If it passes the 43.50 crore mark of Singham Again (2024), Drishyam 3 will mark the biggest first-day opening of Ajay Devgn’s career.
Advance sales have been extraordinary — over 27 crore rupees for the first day alone, the fourth-highest figure ever for a Hindi film. The film also enjoys an undisturbed week with no major competitors in cinemas, with over 5,400 screenings across the country.
The franchise context speaks for itself: Drishyam (2015) opened with 8.05 crore and collected 67.13 crore, while Drishyam 2 (2022) opened with 15.38 crore and reached 240.54 crore, becoming a true blockbuster. The story’s clever structure also inspired the official Chinese version Sheep Without a Shepherd, which grossed over 190 million dollars worldwide.
