Traffic accident in Shterpce leaves five injured

A traffic accident occurred Saturday at around 10:37 a.m. on the Ferizaj–Shterpce highway, in the village of Biti e Poshtme in the municipality of Shterpce. Two vehicles were involved in the collision, one with North Macedonian license plates and the other with local plates.

Five people suffered bodily injuries as a result of the accident, the Ferizaj Regional Police confirmed.

The news was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Ferizaj Regional Police, Kanun Veseli, who stated: “On 26.09.2026, at around 10:37, a traffic accident occurred on the Ferizaj–Shterpce highway, in the village of Biti e Poshtme, involving two vehicles, one with North Macedonian license plates and one with local plates. As a result of the accident, five people suffered bodily injuries.”

Police units arrived at the scene immediately and are working to clarify the causes and circumstances of the accident. Drivers are urged to exercise extra caution on this road segment, as Klan Kosova reports.
