For the Fourth Night in a Row, Citizens Gather in Pristina Against the Specialist Chambers’ Verdict

For the fourth night in a row, citizens from across Kosovo have gathered at “Skënderbeu” square in Pristina, in opposition to the verdict of the Specialist Chambers in The Hague against the four former KLA leaders.

Tonight too, the civic gathering has drawn a large number of participants, who are expressing their opposition to the Special Court’s judgment.

Rallies against the Hague verdict have also continued in the diaspora.

During the day, protests were held in Switzerland and Germany, while similar gatherings have been announced in the United States of America, in front of the United Nations headquarters.

The judgment against Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi was announced on September 16, sparking reactions and protests in Kosovo and among the Albanian diaspora. /Telegrafi/
