For the third night in a row, citizens gather in the square against the Specialist Chambers’ verdict

For the third night in a row, large numbers of citizens gathered in Skënderbeu Square in Pristina in protest against the decision of the Specialist Chambers in The Hague for the four former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders.

The rally follows the verdict under which Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi were sentenced to a total of 81 years in prison.

Citizens gathered in the square to express their dissatisfaction and opposition to the Specialist Court’s decision.

The rallies in Pristina have continued for a third consecutive night since the verdict against the former KLA leaders was announced.
