The Municipality of Prishtina has announced, as Klan Kosova reports, that public transport in the capital will be free of charge today, 1 October 2026, between 14:00 and 20:00, on the occasion of the organisation of the march for the KLA in support of the former KLA leaders.
According to the official announcement, “On the occasion of the organisation of the march for the KLA, which will be held today, public transport in the Capital will be free of charge between 14:00 and 20:00.” The nationwide march “Not in my name”, organised by the “Liria ka Emër” (Freedom Has a Name) platform, starts at 16:00 at Skanderbeg Square, according to the KosovaPress announcement.
The measure was taken to ease citizens’ movement and participation in the march, enabling those coming from different neighbourhoods of the capital to reach the centre without obstacles during the afternoon hours.
Public transport will be free for all citizens throughout the designated interval, and the municipality calls on participants to use city buses to travel towards Skanderbeg Square.
