Giant red-and-black flag unfurled at the Prishtina protest for the former KLA leaders

A giant red-and-black flag was unfurled on Sunday evening in the center of Prishtina, during the protest organized against the verdict of the Specialist Chambers in The Hague against the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

Many citizens gathered in the capital’s central square, while the large Albanian flag was unfurled among them.

Footage from the protest shows the flag being held by dozens of participants, while other protesters gathered around it, some of whom carry flags and banners.

The protest is taking place after the verdict announced by the Specialist Court in The Hague against the former KLA leaders.

The Kosovo Police had earlier announced that it engaged human and logistical capacities for the smooth running of the protest, maintaining public order and peace, and managing traffic in the capital.
