Gjini: The government voted today is unconstitutional and illegitimate; the Alliance will turn to the Constitutional Court

The head of the Alliance (AAK), Ardian Gjini, has reacted after the vote on the new government, calling it unconstitutional and illegitimate.

Gjini announced that the Alliance will turn to the Constitutional Court, and asked the latter to treat the matter with priority.

“The government voted today is unconstitutional and illegitimate,” Gjini wrote.

He said the AAK will take institutional steps to oppose the vote on the government.

“The Alliance will turn to the Constitutional Court and we expect priority treatment from it, since the foundations of constitutionality are shaking,” the AAK leader stated.
