Grenell sharply criticizes former prosecutor Jack Smith for his role in the Specialist Court
U.S. envoy Richard Grenell has reacted on the X platform, pushing back against Jack Smith. Grenell reshared a post by U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley, describing it as a harassing piece by Smith.
“A resident of Osage, Iowa, donated $10 to President Trump. Jack Smith obtained, by court order, that person’s personal check and handed the Department of Justice and the FBI of the Biden administration his private data, including his home address and bank information,” Grassley’s post, reshared by Grenell, said.
In the post reshared by Grenell, the author is critical of the Democratic administration, claiming that its policies and actions have direct consequences for the residents of Iowa.
Later, he also shared a post against the American judge, exposing his work.
“Jack Smith handed the Department of Justice and the FBI, during the Biden administration, the bank account numbers and bank routing numbers, as well as the home addresses of 4,782 Americans, as part of the ‘Arctic Frost’ operation, including the data of 42 residents of Iowa. He claims he did what good prosecutors do,” the text on X said.
These latest reactions by Grenell are seen as sharp criticism of Smith, the lead judge of the trial panel that convicted Thaçi, Veseli, Selimi and Krasniqi.
