Gucati: The Special Court’s conviction verdict must be annulled

The head of the KLA War Veterans’ Organization, Hysni Gucati, has delivered a speech before protesters gathered in “Skënderbeu” Square in Pristina, in opposition to the Hague Special Court’s verdict against former KLA leaders.

“Today we are all KLA. Not in my name! KLA, KLA, KLA! Today we are here to oppose a great injustice,” Gucati initially said, Telegrafi reports.

He said the protesters’ demand is for the Special Court’s verdict to be annulled, asking that, in his words, the will of the citizens and the KLA’s war be taken into account.

“Today we demand that the Special Court annul this verdict and take into account all this effort of the people, and our just war.”

At the end of his speech, Gucati called for honoring the war’s fallen.

“Glory to all martyrs,” he said, among other things. /Telegrafi/
