Gucati warns: If the law on the Special Court is not approved, we may set up tents in front of the Government
The head of the KLA Veterans’ Organisation (OVL-UÇK), Hysni Gucati, has warned of further steps if the Government of Kosovo does not approve the amendments to the Law on the Specialist Chambers.
“Yes, it is true. If the law amending the Law on the Special Court is not approved, we will not stand idly by. We will take other steps, where over the weekend days the leadership and the Council will sit in talks, together with the other two associations, the association of families of martyrs and war invalids,” Gucati stated.
He warned that one of the possibilities being discussed is setting up tents in front of the Government of Kosovo.
“We will make the Government’s work harder. We will try, if it does not reflect. One example: we will stay in tents in front of the Government. We will see in the coming days, this has been discussed,” Gucati said.
Meanwhile, he stated that the October 1 protest in Pristina will be an all-people’s protest and called for the participation of veterans, families of martyrs and war invalids.
According to him, the organisers have held continuous meetings over the last two weeks to mobilise citizens and ensure as wide participation as possible in the protest.
