Gvozdenoviç ahead of Tirana: “A derby for Elbasan — with confidence and calm we get a result”

Elbasan are chasing another positive result after their win over Egnatia. The yellow-and-blues play Tirana in the capital on Saturday in what coach Ivan Gvozdenoviç considers a derby. Speaking to the media, Elbasan’s number one on the bench said the squad is in good shape and expects it to take points in Tirana to build continuity in the championship.

“Another derby awaits us, like the last one against Egnatia. So far the situation is good for us. We still have the final training session today, but we’re fine. It will be a tough derby, as I said, an interesting derby and a beautiful derby.

“We have respect for Tirana, a team with tradition and many trophies, but we are Elbasan and we will try to do our maximum to come out with a positive result. With confidence and calm we will try to come out of this match well. This match matters a lot for continuity. I’m pleased with the boys, with the squad, but there is room to do better,” Elbasan coach Ivan Gvozdenoviç stressed, among other things.
