Israeli army bombs several towns in southern Lebanon: Mansouri, Majdal Zoun, Barashit and Haddatha hit
The Israeli army has bombed several towns in southern Lebanon during the night, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency, intensifying cross-border strikes at a time when the wider regional conflict continues to escalate.
According to the reports, Israeli forces struck the towns of Mansouri and Majdal Zoun in southern Lebanon, while the Wadi Hassan valley was also targeted. Airstrikes were also carried out on the towns of Barashit and Haddatha.
Israeli aircraft were seen flying at low altitude over the coastal city of Tyre, according to the same reports published in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The strikes in southern Lebanon come amid the ongoing confrontation between Israel and the Hezbollah group, while the regional war between the United States and Israel and Iran has reignited tensions across the Middle East.
