Israeli Forces Withdraw from the Outskirts of Deir Mimas in Southern Lebanon — Return to Tell en-Nhas
Israeli forces have withdrawn from their advanced position on the outskirts of the entrance to the town of Deir Mimas in southern Lebanon and returned to their position in Tell en-Nhas, Lebanon’s National News Agency reported on Friday.
According to the Lebanese state agency, the Lebanese army remains deployed on the main road in Burj al-Muluk, while it continues to monitor developments on the ground. No clashes were reported during the withdrawal.

The move comes on the same day that the Syrian state news agency SANA reported that Israeli forces shelled farmland on the outskirts of Beit Jinn, southwest of Damascus — according to initial reports without causing casualties or material damage.
The withdrawal from Deir Mimas marks a change of pace after days of Israeli advances in southern Lebanon and southwestern Syria, as part of the expansion of the conflict that has gripped the region since the start of the war between the U.S. and Iran.
